Do you officiate online Nikah?
We currently do not officiate online Nikah.
Do you provide consultation before Nikah?
Once the booking is confirmed we will contact you to discuss your Nikah ceremony in further detail.
Which Package should I choose?
We offer various packages for your comfort and ease. You can choose the one best suited to your needs.
Do I need a UK civil marriage certificate to get an Islamic certificate?
No, civil marriage is a separate process. My Nikah only deals with Islamic marriages.
Is the Islamic marriage certificate recognized under the UK law?
An Islamic marriage certificate is not recognized by the UK law. You would need to make a separate booking for a civil marriage certificate. The Islamic marriage certificate does not hold any legal meaning.
Do you officiate inter-faith ceremonies?
Yes, we do officiate inter-faith ceremonies if the female is Christian or Jewish.
Do you provide a Nikah Certificate?
Yes, we do provide a Nikah certificate.
How much in advance should I book your services?
You should book our services at least 5 days before the event.
What are the requirements of Nikah?
Following are the requirements of performing a Nikah:
1) The presence and permission of the Wali (Usually the father)
2) Two male witnesses or one male and two female witnesses (Muslims).
3) Confirmation from the bride and the groom.
4) Agreement of Mahr (Dowry)
5) All the above would need to bring proof of ID i.e. passport or driving license.
